Nonfat, Low Sugar, Orange Creamsicle Smoothie

When I was little, I used to go to my grandparents' house during summer vacation. She always had a freezer full of Orange Creamsicles. Since then, it's been one of my favorite flavors. Since I often have protein smoothies, I decided to create a recipe for an orange-creamsicle-flavored smoothie. Recipes for smoothies typically include combinations of fruit juice, yogurt, fruit, milk, and other ingredients. I decided to make some swaps to reduce the fat and calories of this smoothie while maintaining a high protein content.

The resulting recipe has 176 calories, 24g of carbs, 0g of fat, 3.75g of sugar, and 27g of protein, compared to a similar smoothie using full-fat and calorie-dense ingredients, which has 356 calories, 39g of carbs, 13g of fat, 36.5g of sugar, and 19g of protein. This gives me all the nostalgia, but in a healthier way!
